Agree on Siouxsie (just ahead of Pauline Murray).... but when it comes to The Banshees it’ll always be The Scream and Join Hands (have them both on original vinyl and strangely only played them both back to back yesterday)

Kate Bush is my personal favourite but Natasha Khan of Bat For Lashes also deserves a mention.

Saw Annie Haslam on a double bill with Renaissance and Caravan in the 70's at the Colston Hall, Bristol. A fine evening to be sure.

Good shouts for Annie Lennox. I preferred Christine Mcvie’s voice to Stevie Nicks - Far smoother.

    Ann Wilson - Heart

Always loved the silky tones of Dionne Warwick, especially singing the classic Bacharach and David tunes of the 60's.

That said, you will do well to find a better voice than Aretha Franklyn for me.
Such power and what a range.
