Thread: Callum paterson

    Callum paterson

What a whole hearted player he is. He gives his all in every game and to be fair gets his share of goals even if he is a sort of makeshift striker. I can think of a few so called strikers we had in recent season who would be happy to have his record. He does not take a backward step and what he lacks in finese more than makes up with effort.
He is a character and his goals celebrations today were really funny. Wish we had one or two more like him.

Go on Patters, another 5 or 6 goals left in you this season.

    Re: Callum paterson

At his worst he's what I'd describe as a stag-do footballer: more interested in doing things for the lads enjoyment than thinking about the team performance or result. At his best, even at his average, he truly is invaluable.

I spent all day saying how Patts was not the answer, then got told off for standing up in the disabled seats as I celebrated his goal wildly!

He seems like a decent bloke and he always gives 100%. We still need a proper centre forward though.

Agree with both points, Pato. does a good job and did a great job in the promotion season breaking from midfield, supporting and scoring a few. I think Harris` hand were tied but did well to get Sanderson and Adomah in, with 9 games left its a tall order to make the playoffs but it will keep it interesting, thats about all we can get now. Glatzel = I really don`t know what to make of him.
