As you point out Bale will be a year older, but he's not exactly having a great season at Real Madrid is he? Maybe a move will do him the world of good.

On the other hand, and off the top of my head, a postponment would benefit Allen, Neco Williams, Rodon, Mepham, Cabango, Davies, Ampadu, Smith, Levitt, James, Matondo, Brooks, Taylor, Roberts, Burton, Woodburn, and possibly even Ramsey.

Agreed Brooks is the major one, is he gets back to where he was before the injury, Bale might not even be needed
