I think the most extraordinary/absurd etc comment I've come across regarding the coronavirus has to be one I read on Facebook last night. A guy genuinely was trying to argue that the reason the virus had been slower in reaching the UK was because of Brexit. Now, regardless of your position on Brexit, there's not a single slither of rational sense gone into such a thought.
