I was on the last flight out of New York last night. The city was in total lock down - all shops across the city had pretty much closed. Fast food places were allowing take outs only. Supermarkets were bare as well. Thankfully the metro was still running as we left but there was talk of that closing too. It was quite spooky seeing some of the main arteries of the city completely empty of people and cars. I can see us going down that road here sadly. I have got back to an email encouraging me to work from home. Great!

I shouldn't imagine someone posting "Americans are thick" would have the same repercussions. Besides, there a difference between "ALL Muslims are terrorists" and "Americans are thick". The second statement is technically true. There are some Americans that are thick.
