The Whitt’s End sounds like a great idea.

We've got a statue outside the ground to commemorate the player who I think most would agree was Cardiff City's player of the first half century of their Football League existence, so why not have something like a stand naming to remember the man of the second fifty? As to who that is, even before what happened to him, that man would be Whitts for me.
There are a number of players from the last 50 years who also made a fantastic contribution to CCFC, but they were then and this is now. Naming part of a stand seems more appropriate than a statue. Or a hospitality suite at the very least.

I’d like to see the club do something special to celebrate him at our last home match of the season.
He was a family man. Maybe the family section should be renamed after him.
Another thought is a memorial Pre season match against Villa.

Such a game would be really good and would be very well supported by both sets of fans. Proceeds from the game to go to a charity of Peter’s family’s choice

    Whitt’s end. Love that

I think Whitts' End is a little disprespectful to his family. It's not really the circumstances to speculate on what someone may or may not find amusing. Something a little more formal would be the safer way to go.

Whitts turns up at the gates of heaven and walks straight in, ignoring St.Peter. He does what he wants.

They should of course be consulted. I quite like the humour personally as it seems more like the sort of thing Whitts might like rather than something formal and corporate. Not sure though whether a stand naming seems fitting with his humble nature.

I don’t think it would be beyond the realms of impossibility,or over the top to at last give the stadium a fitting name that isn’t commercialised and reflects a modern day Cardiff City hero.It is quite common abroad to name stadiums after former players and I think we should do the same.
