There'll be plenty of empty shops, maybe they can camp out in M&S.

Because I commute at 4:30 a couple of days a week I see people kipping in shop doorways as much as I see them for begging for cash. Mostly young, it’s a pretty moving experience.

I don’t give cash to beggars only food and drink. If I got spare cash to give away I’ll spend it on drugs and booze for myself, especially in these tough times.
