It’s probably been done before but worth a shot at generating a bit of alternative chat about CCFC
No real rules other than they must have played for us after you saw your first game.....
May not have played many games for us but had successful and renowned careers.
That rules out Toshack for me (but not Bale obviously).

Goalkeeper: Schmeichel
Defence:
Midfield: Ramsey: Gerry Francis: Drinkwater
Forward: Fowler, Hasselbaink: Bellamy
Left back - Alan Wright
Centre Half - Kevin Ratcliffe. Won quite a bit at Everton although not a very likeable guy.
Mark delaney at right back, Gabbidon at Centre Back, Ginge Collins at Centre back.
Dave Bennett on the right and his brother Gary at Central defence. Paul Bodin had a decent career after being bombed by us, via Bath City. I always thought that he was half decent for us. Left Fullback.

Agree with Delaney. Medel has to be in midfield, surely? Dean Saunders should be on the list for many people too. And I might pick loovens ahead of collins.
Maybe Mark Kennedy at full back...
Saunders is a good shout...what about Zaha?

Had another thought on selection criteria... In today’s market assuming they were at their peak who would have commanded the highest transfer fee... almost certainly means you play Fowler, Hasselbaink, Bellamy, Ramsey, Ratcliffe and probably Saunders
good shouts all. Osman in particular. He played for England quite a bit didn't he? Not to be sniffed at
Id say Trevor Sinclair was more successful than Dave Bennett. Tony Vidmar maybe ahead of Collins and Gabbidon.
Gerry Francis has to be there as he captained England. Bellamy Ramsey Fowler Jimmy Floyd without a doubt. Gary Medel as well. Saunders yeah.
Drinkwater and Schmeichel both PL winners so id have them as well.
Ross Turnbull has a Champions League winners medal remember.
Toshack did OK .
As a central defencive partnership... Roger Johnson and Glenn Loovens were up there for me.
Agree with Kevin Ratcliffe and Mike England was top notch too. A giant of a bloke with a great presence albeit passed his prime when he played for us (as Ratcliffe was).
