Gunter has played at the same level as us since leaving or below in certain cases (league table standings) and a few appearances for Spurs until they realised that he'd never be good enough. International wise though, he'd be a shout.

He's there for his international exploits, although 450 appearances at Championship level is not to be sniffed at

He wasn't released, Forest bought him for £2m which in 2009 was a fair bit to spend on a 20 year old right back

Mike England and Kevin Ratcliffe as centre backs.

A front three of John Toshack, Robbie Fowler and Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink.

Aaron Ramsey, Gary Medel, Gerry Francis. in midfield.

Struggling for goalkeepers and full backs: Maybe Jim Platt between the sticks, but more likely George Wood.

Fabio at one full back position, he has played at a hight level although i though he was hopeless for us.

Peter Rodrigues at full back ( although I saw him play for Leicester , Sheff W, Southampton and Wales just not for City) so I guess he's out then judging by the rules.

It was Spurs who bought Gunter, he went to Forest after about a year with them.

Just realised that I only named six subs, so how about someone who I believe has played for four sides in the top division of their domestic leagues, played in World Cup Final tournaments and in the Champions League, Andreas Cornelius?

I’d have thought that Bellamy may have got a look in.

No Brian Clark or Ian Gibson?

I put Cornelius out there as a wind up in truth - I'd go with Splott parker's nomination really, but, by the criteria this team is being picked under, there haven't been too many Cardiff strikers with a better CV than Cornelius have there? That's why Clark and Gibson didn't come anywhere near selection for me Vindec, they didn't achieve a great deal in their career in terms of silverware or internationally.

Full backs are a challenge... I get Wright and Delaney but theirs weren’t illustrious careers

    I’m assuming 442 btw
Surely Gary Bell was our greatest full back , Ron Healey as keeper, Willie Anderson on the wing and Whitts has to play .

Drinkwater and Schmeichel both PL winners so id have them as well.
    What about Riccardo Scimeca

Yeah, Forest bought him off Spurs in the summer of 2009 after a loan spell

Me, but not quite old enough to have seen Gerry Hitchens who would be a cert for inclusion
