The article on the beeb just before "Chas has it" was announced was a call from a guy who had a call from the nursing home where his mum is;
They told him she might have it, but if she gets ill, she won't qualify for a ventilator, and her records have been marked with DNR (Do Not Resussitate).
Disgusting 2-tier system.
Surely the "DNR" notification would be with the lady's consent though?

My Mrs had phonecall today from the Heath Hospital she must stay indoors for at least 12 weeks.No seeing friends or family except me.
That could push her over the top.
I reckon it is worth it as long as she is here at the end of it.
My dad has been DNRd on his medical notes. Consent is not needed if the patient is deemed to have mental health impairment, as I understand it. ie not able to make the decision themselves. It's a fine line though.
