    Re: The Bob Bank

I can remembert standing on the old bob bank with my father many years ago when there would be 30-40,000 in Ninian park. Awsome memories !
I wish I could pass them on to someone so they will understand the feeling.

Social distancing?! Those were the days. We had our spot at the back of the terrace in line with the penalty area....in front of Dai Hunt. There were some mental goal celebrations. Happy days.

Wasn't there a crowd of almost 60,000 on one occasion? I think I was there or is my memory playing tricks?

Was on the Grange End for Real Madrid, awesome atmosphere.

Remember a home game v Swindon in winter ~1973 when Don Murray was on form and got booked. It was snowing and took along a new girlfriend and stood freezing on the Bob Bank.

Ninian Park holds so many memories good and bad.

Leeds FA cup with the kids in the family stand.

    Happy Days.

    Be safe fellow Bluebirds.

was a great place in the 80's without seats.
the terrace was pretty quiet with only a couple of thousand each game
you and your mates had your own regular crash barrier ( or whatever they were called ) and you got to know all the people around you.
great times and met some great mates from all over the valleys

Does anybody remember the partially obstructed view seats behind the pillars on The Bob Bank? I sat in one once and couldn’t see the penalty area.
