    O/T Home (house and contents) insurance.... look out for vulnerable people

    My mother-in-law lives in a 3 bedroom terraced house in the Rhondda, she was quoted £482.05 to re-insure her house insurance - I got it for £95.65 from Admiral.

    With so many people now working from home there are two things to remember:

    1) you can offset some costs: https://www.crunch.co.uk/knowledge/t...xpenses-claim/....which i think is a better guide than gov.uk one.
    It can also reduce Council Tax

    2) You should advise your insurance company - who could increase the premium.....unless they are sympathetic to the situation....
