Although for complete different reasons, he's like Gary Neville in being someone who I had little time for when he was playing, but now I've come to respect and quite admire him.

That brought tears to my eyes, honestly. He had to do things the hard way, that's for sure.
I'm sure there's bits of what he talked about that some of us can relate to, I know I can.
