Difficult to narrow it down, so just ten that come to mind-

    Zulu
    Lord of the Rings trilogy
    The Outlaw Josey Wales
Once upon a Time in the West
    The Italian Job (original)
The Godfather Trilogy, (except the third one.)
    Schindler's List
They Call Me Trinity (hilarious slapstick western)
    Goodfellas

And finally one that won't get a look-in in 10 most mentioned
Ran - a Japanese reworking of King Lear, set in feudal Japan. If you are serious abot films, you must check this out.

Apart from the top 3 my list could be very different in just a few days time. Just realised that I haven't included any Hitchcock. Ah well, next time.

Not necessarily my 10 favorites, (it would take me days to narrow it down to that) but 10 films I've watched a lot and still enjoy.

    Casablanca
    The Godfather
    Goodfellas
    His Girl Friday
    The Royal Tennenbaums
Field of Dreams (still can barely hold it together at the end)
    The Graduate
Once Upon a Time in the West
    Taxi Driver
    Citizen Kane

Tough to fund 10 BEST but I find it easier if grouped....

    Comedy:
Marx Brothers, A night at the opera.
    Austin Powers II.
Blazing Saddles/Young Frankenstein (can't split 'em).

    Drama/Suspense/horror:
    Psycho (original 60's)
    Whatever Happened to Baby Jane
The Big Sleep (original Bogart/Bacall version)
Godfather parts I and II (cheated)

    SciFi: - None

    Others Sad/Feel good:
    Home Alone (I and II)
One Flew over the cuckoo's nest

    Pulp Fiction (has all genres)

Same here. I really liked Lives of Others, Das Boot and recalled The Prestige as films I really liked. You can always amend some of your selections.

Yes - my favourite actor by far. And I just remembered Alfie, which would be in my top eleven 😄
