For a long time, we've become accustomed to the reaction of many to some action or instruction or law, which they have seen as infringing their freedom/liberty. Often their feelings may have seemed disproportionate to the invasion of their rights to which they hold so dear.
Yet for the last few days all we hear is almost hysterical criticism that we haven't been given sufficient guidelines, even rules, about what we can and can't do during the next stage of dealing with the virus.
Not saying that the power- that-be have not been criminally lacking when it comes to giving clear and precise instructions - rather that the hitherto freedom-lovers seem to have become regulation enthusiasts.
