Just Googled Stan Polley, what a f*cking twat of a man, had he been around today no doubt he’d be dipping his toe in Premier League football. Tragic tale re. Badfinger, could and should have been one of the greats, marvellous that this thread is bringing them to the attention of some younger posters who aren’t aware of them.

They were a class act who should have had far more recognition than they did. Day After Day is a superb song as is No Matter What. Didn't realise till a few years after Nilsson had a huge hit with it that Without You was written by the Badfinger lads. Loved their music.
