Wolfsburg's Dutch striker Wout Weghorst has revealed he has ambitions to play in England with the 27-year-old saying Liverpool are a club he finds "very special".

Seems there was interest, possibly a deal in place when he was playing at Hercules Almelo. The player himself saying a deal was in place and Russel slade likes him. How much of that was agent talk I don’t know as he soon moved before onto AZ Alkmaar for 1.5mill then onto Wolfsburg for nearly 10 mill.
