So i am afraid his announcement did, i must admit i prefer the Wales way, its simple still, stay at home, help the nhs etc etc, but i guess in the coming weeks the same will happen in Wales, lockdown slightly relaxed and you will see the same as i did today

Yeah it sounds like we'll be following the English way pretty soon. In a way the virus has come at the worst time of the year. You'd almost want it to start around September so they start to loosen the lockdown just when it gets into real shitty dark winter so people will still stay inside. I'm sure there's loads of reasons why experts would tell me this is in fact not true but that's how it seems to me
