Thread: INTERNATIONAL SPACE STATION

    INTERNATIONAL SPACE STATION

If anyone is interested, the ISS is visible all week from the UK and will be passing overhead tonight at 10.08pm. Times vary daily but with the clear skies we're getting, a good view is all but guaranteed.

Thanks. Yes, should be clear tonight according to the forecast. Normally where we are any kind of celestial event such as eclipse of the moon, meteor showers or some rare alignment of the planets guarantees a cloudy night!

Usually you are right but the meteor showers we had just over a month ago were easily visible as like now the skies we're very clear.
I saw a couple whiz across the sky in the blink of an eye but one was extremely bright and was visible for almost 5 seconds, probably the best one I've ever seen.

The Space X Rocket takes off at 9.37pm tonight and I think will also be visible in a similar area about 20 minutes after the Space station.
