Tbf Max. Given the amount of Thunderbird consumed I was a bit surprised that Townhill wasn't a designated International Space Station long before now!

Would be a ideal spot with us being so high up think of the fuel that could be saved on the launches.

If only you could make a rocket that reaches the stratosphere fuelled by horse manure and charlie it sounds like a goer Max. Bit more realistic than the Swansea Bay Barrage at least!

I hear Dominic Cummings has taken an official trip to be on the station as long as his eye sight allows it and its within lockdown rules?

I dunno. I saw 4 lights moving across the Sky over a 10 minute or so period. 3 heading East on a similar path, including 1 quite bright one. And another heading North.

The Space Station was the bright light heading west to East. The light travelling North was much higher and less bright. I'd like to know what that was if there are any astronomers on here.

    Tonight’s time:———

Date: Thu May 28, 10:27 PM
    Visible: 5 min
    Max Height: 41°
    Appears: 11° above W
    Disappears: 16° above SE

Brilliant siting last night, Mrs said “that’s someone with a DRONE”

We also saw a smaller, less bright, light just before the ISS appeared and it was moving in more or less the same direction as the ISS. Great view of the latter and quite unmistakable, eerie actually as it seems so close and yet silently gliding along.
