    PREMIER NOISE QUESTION !

The crowd noise we can hear, is it being played over the tannoys, so the players can hear it ?????

I don't think so. The I think I heard the broadcaster here say that NBC was doing it. It's so quiet, it's barely noticable.

What channel are you watching on? I think Main Event has crowd sounds, going to switch over to that to see if it makes this any better.

Isn't it a bit louder than Villa's normal crowd?

Sky have taken noise from a Villa game when there was a crowd and atmosphere. I guess it is on a gramophone record.

Thought I heard the recorded crowd just sing “You’re not fit to referee” after he failed to award Villa a penalty.

The recorded noise makes a difference to be fair.

I'd prefer just the noise from the pitch. Reminds me of standing at the front of the Bob Bank in a 2500 crowd. You could hear everything.

Very true. It's awful until you compare it to it not being there.

I think the Sky commentator said that they are doing the crowd noise too.

Usually, broadcasters mix the crowd noise in live sports games, via the mics all over the crowd. Must be doing something similar, but with pre-existing audio

Would love it if the audio from the 2002 cup tie is used on Sunday!

quite correct, although it's a natural thing isn't it and doesn't sound right with the delay.
