    The owners lost £24m by putting Wigan into administration. They had sufficient funds to pay off any debts and invest in players should have wanted to, so I don't know what else the EFL could have done. You can't predict someone's change of heart. It's harsh on Wigan, but there's no stopping any owners doing the same..

    I feel the same way. It's not the fans' fault, but the club has broken the rules. Also, if by some chance they manage to finish above the relegation slots (even after a 12 point deduction), then it should apply at the start of next season instead. Otherwise, where's the punishment?

    Isn't that exactly what does happen?
