5 Managers in just over a year, guess it keeps the fans message boards vibrant .
Who’s in charge at Watford these days? Blue Lewj?
Looks as though they're working on the theory of many managers = many "manager bounces" = promotion
Idiots: Wrexham already tried to "new manager bounce" themselves to promotion last season/season before and turns out it doesn't work.
You may say this joke is too early but four points away from automatic promotion is apparently not good enough with less than half the season complete and Watford have experience in multiple sackings in a season.
5th in the table and he is sacked ?
Good god what has become of football
What a joke of a club. Let's hope that they don't even make the play-offs.
Watford have definitely been underperforming this season. This guy Ivic was pretty much unknown before he arrived at Vicarage Road and only on a one-year contract anyway. Maybe somebody more high-profile and appealing has become available ahead of the transfer window. Someone like Slaven Bilic, perhaps.
Ridiculous, bouncing from manager to manager seems to be the way clubs want to operate nowadays. Imagine this was the case in the distant past, Sir Alex Ferguson would have been sacked and we'd have been deprived the best manager and some of the best teams of the last century.
After Brexit there’s rules on foreign managers, so Watford are going to appoint someone before Dec 31st. You have to have had 2 years or 3 out of the last 5 at a top club from a top 2 big 5 league or top division in the bigger European countries like Belgium, Portugal, Netherlands etc.
Whenever I’ve seen Watford they’ve been really poor, they were terrible against us considering the attacking talent they have. Everything was so slow. It’s Watford too, the Pozzos don’t hang around. If you fail, fail quickly.
Watford have confirmed the appointment of Xisco Muñoz as Head Coach.
The Spaniard joins the Championship club from Georgian top-flight side Dinamo Tbilisi (BBC article). Xisco returned to Dinamo Tbilisi in January 2019, as part of Zaur Svanadze's staff, he left at the end of the year, and nn 2020, Xisco again returned to Dinamo Tbilisi to become a head coach of the club (Wiki's only listing for his managerial career).
From what I can tell by this twitter post: https://twitter.com/SBunching/status...23259532234752
Xisco Muñoz would not meet the qualification criteria after 1st of January 2021. The first signal of football consequences from Brexit?Top defined as:
