How do you know that stacks of people fiddle their Tax-VAT? If you have this information then you need to pass it on to the relevant agencies.

I expected some comment like that from one or more of the perfect people on here. The ones I know I have.
How often do you pay cash for work or service knowing it is going straight in the man's back pocket 100%? Or do you insist on paying full whack with proper VAT receipts and breakdown of material etc? Don't bother to answer, I know you do. you're perfect.

I never ask for a cash deal, doesn't happen in my house, same as i didn't want them as a sole trader for 22 years, absolute pain in the arse trying to justify cash in the end of year accounts. Here's one for you. A lot of the time it's the punter who offers cash in order to get a cheaper deal, implying that the tradesperson is going to be dishonest. Most aren't.

I just ask for a quote. The decision on who I'd use is a combination of price, reputation and recommendation. If they choose to put all or some of that money in their back pocket that's up to them. Whether they do or dont I doubt they'd tell me and I wouldn't ask anyway.

And I have no doubt Lewis Hamilton is honest, he just has a good accountant who does what he is paid to do, save his client money that he doesn't 'have' to pay.

What has that, if it's true, got to do with Hamilton's tax status?

I think its fair to say that if someone is paying tax in 9 different countries , he's doing it for a reason 🤔

I mean being wealthy is one thing but come on lads !

What about all the people who work "cash in hand"? They don't earn his money but you don't see people naming and shaming them, yet they probably defraud the country out of more money as a percentage of their income that he does.
I bet you that if you totted up all the lost tax from those those who work cash in hand and don't declare everything would be a fraction of all the tax that is lost to the mega wealthy who can choose from a variety of schemes to avoid tax. I'm not saying that either is right, btw.

Still, at least Brexit will sort this out. One of the reasons the elite wanted us out was so we can clamp down on tax avoidance.

Indeed sadly those two have been buddies for some time and you can't tell me that Hamilton doesn't know of his awful behaviours .

Strange Lewis feels some cause are worthwhile whilst Greens behaviours deserve his company .

I hope Lewis wasn't jumping on a band wagon with BLM I( 'm sure I'm way off the mark ??? )

    See below:

Sir Philip Green kissed, slapped and groped a female employee and told a black worker his “problem” was that he was still “throwing spears in the jungle”, it was claimed last night.

Details of how the retail tycoon allegedly harassed and bullied members of his staff emerged after he was forced to back down over*attempts to gag a newspaper.

Sir Philip*has abandoned a court action that had prevented the newspaper from reporting claims by his former employees, among them*racial harassment*and sexual assault.

These include accounts of how he harassed the female employee before paying her £1 million to stay silent. He also mocked the black worker’s dreadlocks and accused him of using cannabis. That senior executive complained and was eventually paid*close to £1 million and made to sign a*gagging order*that banned him from discussing his treatment,*The Daily Telegraph*reported.

When a Chinese businessman visited the headquarters of Sir Philip’s Arcadia Group three years ago, one employee alleged that the tycoon had looked at him and asked: “What do you think, Mr Ching Chong Charlie?”
