Why didn't mick the prick say from the start it was a trial? Was only a few weeks back he said the lad was only training with us to keep fit. Make your mind up Mick.
    Mick the prick?

    Morrell has signed for Portsmouth.
Toshack once said that there are players who play in the premier league and there are premier league players.

I assume it has relevance further down the pyramid as well.

Why waste money we haven’t got?

    Play the youngsters!!!

Kieron Evans is from Bargoed and “Mickey Square Holes” said on record in last week’s game against West Brom he was OUTSTANDING 😃

    Attacking midfielder

Why keep him in the u23’s?

Unleash him and I’m sure he’ll be a fan’s favourite with midfield sorted ⚽️

Waste what money on Watkins ? How much are we paying him ? You don't know, do you. He might not be getting anything. You cant just plunge young players into league action willy nilly either. They will disappear without trace - its a cut throat division. Need to be introduced gradually like Colwill has and build up strength/fitness. We already had four under 20’s in the squad on Tuesday as well. Finally Kieron Evans has been injured and missed most of pre-season, so he wasn't ready to go in anyway.

L1 is about right for Morrell.

After seeing the Newport play off final I reckon Morrell is a step up from that.

I thought Kieron Evans was injured?

    Re: Midfielder option?

    Nah
He played in a friendly Tuesday behind closed doors scoring the only goal of the game
    Also scored against West Brom

He did have a niggling ankle injury which kept him out for a month but he’s back to full fitness

Which leaves the question when exactly is the best time to give the lad his debut?

On the bench today vs Norwich

How I don’t know I assumed he’d be plying his trade in league one
