I'm not sure, he mentioned Ng in the video and said he was excellent on Saturday.

Perhaps in the longer term Ng can step into the back 3 and be the defender that is comfortable passing and bringing the ball out of defence that is important for this formation

A very honest summary of the game by MM. There is nothing in what he says indicating he prefers Sang over NG. In fact I didn't think that Sang had a particularly good game yesterday - he was OK but thats about all.
