Carlisle and Mansfield take some beating but Blackpool's ones were complete helmets. Especially the ones in jump suits - what the hell was that all about?

If you are wanting to avoid the knobs that Blackpool attracts and want a few quiet beers in a pretty nice town then break your journey at Bolton and get the train to Southport. It is a hell of a lot nicer than Blackpool.
