Reading of the place on here beforehand and with it having the name of 'Charters' I expected a trendy, soulless and overpriced bar in the centre of the town (a less than impressive place, it has to be said). I was very pleasantly surprised that it turned out to be an old Dutch canal boat on the river serving an excellent choice of beers at extremely reasonable prices.

I did ask you to come and say hi Taunton on another thread when you said you were in charters.
I had a bright red coat on.
Practically stayed in charters for the 2 days we were there.
Just got back home now

I don't think I read that post, old fruit - but thanks. I had just one pint and spent a couple of hours doing something else before the game. I'm not keen on red these days for some reason or other
