OT : ordering sofa from Facebook seller ?

Hoping to find someone who has done this, anyone bought one of these sofas you see advertised on Facebook gumtree ? They seem to be built to order , but not sure if they are legit.

At the end of my tether trying to find a decent sofa, been around all the usual shops and they are extortionate.

I bouhht a Chesterfield and a wingback from Etsy in the summer and I love it. They are called Pablo & Oswald.

The furniture is top quality, built to exactly what I wanted and cost just shy of £2000.

If you look at their reviews, you'll see that lots of people complained about their shit communication which I agree with.

I bought a leather chesterfield sofa from https://www.designersofas4u.co.uk/ about 10 years ago and it still looks just as good as when I bought it. 3 seater leather chesterfield's from about £800.

I’m looking, have been for months. Lots can’t get supplies so those that can have hiked up their prices. Made.com are an option but expensive.

I've bought a couple of sofas from sofa sofa where you get factory prices. Website here:

    https://sofasofa.co.uk/collections/sofa-finder

There is a factory showroom in Crumlin so you can see before you buy.

Thanks all. I’ll take a look at that Sofa Sofa place. There’s Sofa City Direct on Bridgend which I hear is good as well.

    I've called my sofas Morrison.
Were pretty solid and reliable at the back a few years ago, but now probably past their best.

It’s the same old story. You get what you pay for. Pay a cheap price, pay twice, as the saying goes.
Make sure your hard earned cash goes in a sensible direction.
