Anyone with YouTube need to check out Dave Chappele’ excoriating take on this guy. IMO not only is Chappele the best stand up comic bar none but his rendition of this incident is brutal.
In life people sometimes use their sexuality , sex , class , race in a positive way
And sometimes people behave the way this bloke did
Not very often though and playing the race card doesn't happen as often as those who use the term would like us to think it does
It's clearly a big story , the bloke is going to prison but this life , people do shitty things and I hope he's punished
as chappelle points out it was easier for a white man (jenner) to become and be accepted as a woman than it was for muhammad ali to change his name
What happened to Chapelle? He’s painfully unfunny these days.
I used to like Louis C.K. but now i know he's a wanker
Bill Burr is probably the best American comedian.
Chapelle seems past his best.
I understand that we are creatures of our time and all that, and that my "time" was the 1970s, but even so I will say that I rarely laugh at comedians any more. Oh, I might nod in appreciation of this point or that point that some late-night host is making, but laugh? Not often. By contrast, I was watching a documentary a few days ago on the life of Tommy Cooper, and I hardly stopped laughing. Why did comedy have to become preachy? Why can't it just be funny?
