I'm sure Stant left being owed money or not happy about something?

    Thorne scored scored 17 goals
Earnshaw on 1k a goal scored 35 goals.
Tan and Hammam are both money wasters but considering Hammam was supposed to be a football man he didn't have a clue.
    Fantastic player for us

Rumours Sam paid Shrewsbury around 500k more than what they wanted for Hughes.

How much has that goal against Bristol and Campbell’s goal against QPR earned the City since?

Still doesn't take away the fact we were run like a circus under Hammam ending up in a financial mess.
Tan has run the club like a circus to and has only recently got wiser ..

How do people know about Alan Lee and what he said in a private meeting?

I think it was either in Dave Jones book or Peter Ridsdales book.

With regards to bonner , who like boland I thought did the dirty work so well for us , he didn't leave because of bonus payments , he left because Dave Arse wanted to dismantle the team and bring in non contract or season long loan players .

The reason I know this was because I was late to an evening game , saw bonner in his car said hello and he was gutted as he had just been told by the club

Perhaps the owner didn't handover the page stating that bit and he just played for out of pure love

I wonder what our history would have been if we hadnt scraped up in the play offs.

We were soon in financial trouble and wed massively overspent including on Thorne.

Would failure to go up that year ended Sams reign at the club there and then. New owner , admin maybe.

We will never know. Debt is good was the line wasnt it?

We later found out it was all bollox.

The money we had spent we should have walked that division?
Our club nearly went under when he was here so god help if he had stayed an kept borrowing from god knows who.
We would have probably be bought or called Cardiff Fc after he took us under.

That was his “barn door” period wasn’t it?

Yes, I think it was a free, but we stood to get a couple of hundred grand if they went up and they came something like fourteenth.

Probably due to his high wages and goal bonus?
Was it around the same time has the Gabbs , Collins , Earnie and Kav firesale?

Earnshaw was sold in August 2004. Kavanagh was sold in March 2005. Gabbidon and Collins were sold in July 2005.

As fire sales go, it was a pretty slow one.....

Maybe but we sold our best players within a year due to financial mismanagement.
