Where we get these players from is largely irrelevant. For the time being that is the extent of our ambition.
You can't in one post say 'a culture change is needed to produce players' and then advocate for a side filled with loanees while the few decent players we have produced get 10 minutes a week. We aren't in the relegation zone because Harris, Isaac Davies and Colwill have started a handful of games. We are down there because we are fixated on filling gaps and not building a side. We have been doing that since Ole was given the boot and it hasn't got us anywhere.

Sometimes you need to go down to go back up again, look at Norwich and Southampton since their seasons in league one.

I’d say Man City trump them all in the going down to the third tier stakes, with Leicester a distant second While Oldham, Swindon, Bradford City can be added to the many to whom relegation wasn’t such a rosy opportunity.

It's an undisclosed fee. It literally could be peanuts.
Well its unlikely to be nothing, seen reports of 3-5m. I'd imagine it's somewhere in between at best, probably closer to 3.

Vincent won't be wiping his nose with 50's off the back of it but better than 0 in the future and an unhappy player until then.

Maybe it will cover some of the wages of loan fc next season.

Look at Ipswich, Sunderland, Sheffield Wednesday and Portsmouth.

I'd imagine the fees quoted in the media are there or thereabouts.

Not that it really matters. If he didn't want to be here then there was no point keeping him. The 11 on the pitch yesterday all played like they wanted to be here and that's what we need right now.

It doesn't do Wales many favours mind as he'll be second choice down there.

Wonder if the Cardiff contingent of Wales fans will give him a warm welcome back in the upcoming play-offs.

I myself keep Cardiff and Wales seperate. I'll want him to have good games and score goals for Wales but wish him nothing but a shit time at Bournemouth

Last season he was a City favourite. He leaves under a cloud as a player who has showed no interest in the plight his club are in and only for his own career. It's true that players often look after themselves and rightly so, but when it's done in a manner such as this I reckon he'll be in for a bit of a rough ride from City fans in the future.

Yep not saying it is the formula but we are literally just bobbing along as a club and sometimes a shock to the system is good.

That could be in miracle territory.

I trust Vincent will be courting the most evil people he can find, to try and sell us to them so fingers crossed.

Shock transfer request? Whoever wrote that headline obviously hasn't seen Moore play for us this season.

It's a 3.5 year contract. His agent has done well there.

    Same agent as Bacuna?

madness to sell unless we have to financially
I don't think it's madness to sell a player that doesn't have his head in Cardiff. He hasn't been our player since he didn't move in the summer.

What's madness is keeping someone like that and getting less in the summer.

    My opinion obviously.

    Quite right.

One comment was about how much it would cost to replace Moore. If we kept him, turned down his transfer requests and played him until his contract ran out in 18 months time we'd have an ineffective, moaning, not always fit striker who resented the club for not allowing him to improve his career. In such a scenario we'd end up bringing in another striker and having this star man warming the bench and even being dropped from the match day squad.

Well whatever the answer thr more we get for him now, the more we have to put towards that.

Or we can leave it to the summer and get **** all..

    Jesus, some of the moaning.

I'm off back on my little holiday.

Would cost an awful lot of money but would it be worth it? Potentially

    Is there a word to sum up the following;

    Not happy with the move
    Not surprised with the move
    Disappointed with Moore’s attitude
    Not that bothered either
