Deadline day moves out: Sang, Brown, Evans, Patten - All complete

    https://www.walesonline.co.uk/sport/...e-day-22925268

    Quartet set to leave

Cardiff City are allowing four of their first-team fringe players to leave on loan for the rest of the season, WalesOnline has learned.

Tom Sang is set for a spell up in Scotland with St Johnstone, a move perhaps in the pipeline following the arrival of Tommy Doyle from Manchester City.

Ciaron Brown, the defender who is in the final months of his contract with the club, will also head out, with League One club Oxford United set to be his destination.

Elsewhere, promising winger Kieron Evans, 20, will join Belfast-based club Linfield.

Lastly, Keenan Patten is set to head out on loan to Hereford FC in the National League North.

    Some disappointments there, especially Patten

    Linfield? That's a strange one

    A few more words here:

All loans - but for Brown that is probably the exit door.

Not one of those moves would be inspiring for any of them surely!

He’s 20 and hasn’t figured in the first team. Why do you think it’s disappointing?

    The Sang one looks OK.

Four months of a relegation battle in the SPL (up against Rambo) - hopefully in the position that Doyle is occupying for us until the summer. Sang has a contract to 2023 (maybe with an option to extend) and would be back in the mix this summer with a good deal of football behind him. His previous loan was Cheltenham.

    Brown is on his way.

Up to Sunday Morison was saying there had been very few enquiries for our fringe or academy players (the only one he mentioned was Oli Denham). Hereford and Linfield may be better options than another 4 months in the u23s. League 2 would be better, but the club can only deal with the options on the table.

Evans is the strangest one to me

He’s told his agent to get him a move out of City and he doesn’t care where. Kids not happy and I don’t blame him.

Biggest disappointment for me would be Sang as I think he's good enough to be in the team. He can also play in that right wing back role and if Drameh gets injured Ng will have to go back out there.

I agree that Linfield is a strange move for Evans (I believe that most teams in that league are semi pro?). However, what he needs, and I mean this in a good way, is to have the shit kicked out of him for 6 months by grown men. He won't get that playing U23s for the rest of the season.

Yes I think you're right, slightly higher level than the Welsh Prem (but not by much), I think about half are pro and half are semi pro

The deals feel a little rushed

    Glen Williams @GlenWilliams12

Oxford United also enquired about taking Mark Harris on loan earlier today, but Cardiff City rejected it #CCFC #Bluebirds

Who is going to take their wages on?

I don't get Evans, surely he is good enough to find a league club over here?!

I'm disappointed if Sang leaves, he should be on the bench as he can cover a range of positions

At least one of them isn't going to be making the match-day squad. You'd think they would want an opportunity to play and we would accept a deal they covered a percentage of their wages.

Shame about Sang as think he has something to offer.

    Others not to concerned about.

Notice he only posts negative nonsense. Loved Harris who was relegating us. Nothing about the game yesterday that I’ve seen. Odd.

Loramski (sic) needs to bring back loan watch at this rate.

I suppose what they all need are minutes against men.

Clearly there were no offers from clubs higher in the pyramid. Or maybe ones that did were honest that they would be back up.

Yes Sang is good enough for the first team in my opinion. I would certainly have him on bemch begore Vaulks, Pack and bacuna. Also think Evans was good enough. They both combined for harris winner against preston and before that we were struggling. I think we could regret letting Sang go out on loan.
