Hopefully we can continue our good form against Preston, who themselves have been doing much better lately.

I think we'll win, but we'll probably make hard work of it, like we usually do.... 2-0 to City.

From a punting point of view the 11/5 against a Preston win could be generous.

according to my Preston supporting mate, the danger man is Cameron Archer who they have on loan from Aston villa, says he's a premier League player

We beat Preston twice already this season with the same score. Another 2 - 1 win to make it an unique hatrick of results.

It would be very unique. We did manage 3 1-1 draws with Sunderland in the 1971/72 season, but 2 of those were in the FA cup.

There have been 137 occasions where we've managed the same result both home and away against the same team in the league during a season, 39 double draws, 43 double defeats and 55 double wins.

    Match facts

    • Cardiff City have won their last four league matches against Preston North End, their best run against them since an eight-game winning run between 1968 and 1972.
    • Preston have won just one of their last 11 away league games against Cardiff (D4 L6), a 1-0 win in December 2017.
    • Cardiff City have won six of their last 10 league games (D1 L3), as many as they’d managed 27 games combined (W6 D6 L15).
    • Ryan Lowe has only lost two of his last 15 away league matches as a manager across spells with Plymouth and Preston (W8 D5), losing just one of his seven as Preston boss so far (W4 D2).
    • Cardiff have scored the fewest first half goals in the Championship this season (7), with each of their last 10 league goals coming in the second half of matches.

you cannot have degrees of uniqueness; something is either unique or it isn't.

Why has he dropped Bagan the last couple of games when he was in the form of his life in the previous 3?

Nobody on here is going to know are they and all it will turn into is a Steve morrison bashing session let's be honest.

If its OK for Pep to pull Foden it's OK for Morison to pull Bagan

Maybe because Doughty wont be able to play against Stoke on Wednesday, so is keeping Bagan fresh.

Bit disappointed that Bagan isn't starting.
