I'm pretty sure in FIFA 98 Maldives Islands (as they were called) were rated 2. Qatar would most definitely have been one of the sh*t sides in The Road To The World Cup and would have had to be rated 1 to qualify as THE worst side in the International Leagues. FIFA 98 is still one of the great FIFA game titles. It had everything. I'm absolutely sure though even on amateur, you would never qualify out of the group playing as Qatar. The AI would have stuffed them!
I bet a top tier nation would kick up a stink.

As it stands a group could have the world number 1 from pot 1 and the world number 18 from pot 4, or the world numbers 51 and 101 instead. Ridiculous.
Both Wales & Ukraine would be in pot 3 by right, with Tunisia dropping to pot 4. Scotland would be in pot 4 automatically.
Scotland holding us back! Least we can do is give them a good thrashing in the playoff final (if they beat / get a bye against Ukraine).

Senegal-Egypt would have avoided each other if the play off draw had waited till the end of the rearranged AFCON Nations.
The entire Oceanian section had to go to Doha to to play qualifiers because of Covid, with 4 teams not even playing a game because of Covid. Tahti qualifying out the group with 0 points.
