Does the agent represent the player or the club?
Surely the player should pay the agent - if he isn’t competent to negotiate for himself that is.
And surely the clubs should have someone within the club that’s capable of putting the deal together on the clubs behalf?
All this money that goes out of the game angers me.

It's the clubs that are buying, not the players.

I'd imagine the agent gets something off the player when negotiating the players mew contract though.

Players should hire and pay an agent to represent them but unfortunately agents try to weasel their way in from all angles.
