Am thoroughly dismayed. End of last season everyone was optimistic with young academy players coming through - the future seemed bright.
Now, they are virtually exiled. Bagan HAS to be better that the Everton loanee.....Eli King was very promising......and others. When Tom Sang came on today he had a very good impact - better than Colwill, who I think is over rated. Isaak Davies - I fear he may not be the same after his injury.
James Connolly should have been given his chance....Denham will make the grade - somewhere. These are eager young players with passion.
SM has said he doesn't see any youngsters breaking into the team anytime soon.....but I don't buy the fact that 'they need to be handled carefully. At the age of most of them...19/20/21 they should be in the first team or they are not going to make it.'
