The worst, Durban, Morison and I got Phil Neal in my head. Was he only caretaker manager?

Nope. Flattered to deceive. Had the sides to do well in the PL but had no toughness to get promoted. Too often we disappeared when it was really needed under his management.

What does "flattered to decieve" even mean? It seems like term that's exclusive to football. Jones had a great squad and managed a good game. For the most part. Although many accused him of not having a "Plan B". Which is about as basic a term as I can think of.

If Jones flattered to deceive, what did Warnock do? Is there an opposite term?
