What I don't get about the 'the manager spent all Tan's money' noises from some is that these were signings ratified by the self proclaimed transfer committee.

Is it a case of when the signing turns out well they were very hands on with the decision process but if they turn out a bit of a dud they distance themselves from it? You can't have it both ways surely.

I think Warnock is a master manipulator and was with Tan, Dalman and Choo eating out of the palm of his hand no doubt.

You can't be labelling yourselves some sort of group that have top knowledge on transfers and then throwing the manager under the bus when they go wrong. Well you can't for anybody who is willing to see it anyway. Some fans will accept any old ****, let's be honest.

The transfer committee sign off all transfers, are the same people who pick the manager and (Tan certainly) seem to speak to the manager about most things they do as if they really rate their own input. Nowhere to be seen when the manager gets thrown under the bus though.
