to be fair, its roughly todays prices when at events
£8.50 for a hot dog is bad enough, but £4.19 for a bottle of coke is obscene.
that shite costs pennies to make, probably less than 10p for the bottle and contents

You can't really blame them. People turn up week after week paying the insane prices of the burgers etc etc despite them being that insane price the last time. Generally speaking games aren't even at a mealtime, and if you can't pack something then there's loads of places on the way to the ground that would be cheaper.
There's a queue of people longer than you could possibly serve in 15 minutes at half time. People actually miss parts of the games to make sure they get some chips laced with gold
It's the people paying the prices I despair at, dull enough to pay, not the people charging them.

The cost of wanting rather than needing

Rip off sports ground prices update.

Went to the NFL last Sunday.
£6.60 a regular lager and £6.90 premium (which was Heineken).

According to Spurs fans this is hiked up just for the NFL games there apparently.

It's something like £6-7 for a can of carlsberg in the motorpoint. Probably more now that was about a year ago. Naturally only moaned on the first one and then when I looked at my bank account the next day

Talking of food, I’m off work today as we’re going away tomorrow, the missus fancied getting in the holiday spirit by nipping down Wellfield Rd and having a bite to eat alfresco. She’s just changed her mind telling me that it looks like rain dear.

My local butcher was selling 8 legs of venison for £160. I thought that was too dear.
