Basically we have got to win these games

    Rotherham are mid table

    We need the points

I fear that this side simply havnt got any bollocks in them

If you tried to out battle us, we’d just steamroll you. We became unstuck when teams played football against us. Move the ball from side to side, at pace, and we’d get carved open. That’s what we have to do.

No, the 0-0 Rotherham under Slade. Terrible quality

Two on target efforts by City, four by Rotherham - a classic compared to the other games mentioned

To be fair it’s hard trying to remember all the awful games. There’s been quite a few over the years

....can they remember what it’s like to score?

    Match facts

    • Cardiff City are unbeaten in their last five league matches against Rotherham United (W3 D2) since a 2-1 defeat in September 2015.
    • Rotherham haven’t won any of their last six league visits to Cardiff (D3 L3) since a 1-0 win at Ninian Park in August 1998.
    • Cardiff City have lost their last three league matches, all without scoring. The Bluebirds last suffered four defeats in a row without scoring was in September and October 2021 (five in a row).
    • Rotherham have taken four points from their last two away league games (W1 D1), the Millers last had a longer unbeaten run on the road in the Championship within a season in February 2021 (3 games).
    • Cardiff have won just three of their last 21 league games in October (D8 L10), with only one of those coming at home, a 1-0 win over Blackburn earlier this month.

That’s a shocking stat about October, which I had no nkling of whatsoever. Remember when Dave Jones sides used to suffer from Novemberitis?

What the hell is going on....Nkounkou in again....and OJO....just not good enough - cannot they see that??? We all can.
REALLY disappointed none of the under 23/21 names are there - same old same old not good enough. I was really encouraged when a number of youngsters were given the opportunity end of last season...we seem to be going backwards. What do they have to do to at least get on the bench .
    Falling out of love......

So he's watched Ojo and Nkounkou in the last few matches and thought "they're playing well, I'll pick them again".
3 defensive midfielders again too, but I can kind of understand that.

Good to see Sang keep his place.

Re: CARDIFF CITY v ROTHERHAM UNITED. Match thread

Take Nkounko out and we lose one of our limited attacking threats

Re: CARDIFF CITY v ROTHERHAM UNITED. Match thread

Great start by Harris, offside looked closer on replay than it did at first glance

Re: CARDIFF CITY v ROTHERHAM UNITED. Match thread

No VAR, surely Ojo should get the benefit of the doubt there?

    Still got 11 players on?

He does look more of a winger than a full back.

14 minutes gone, corner to them, and we don’t put a man on the hall way line, to draw 2 of their players out
    Fu cling useless

first time this season i got live commentary on my smart speaker, has anything changed ,it normally says it cant be played because of rights issues

Re: CARDIFF CITY v ROTHERHAM UNITED. Match thread

Ojo is an infuriating player, and Nkounkou is a bit of a liability again. Overall we are playing some really nice stuff, but there's no attacking threat making runs if it's not the initial through ball.
