    WBA appoint Carlos Corberan

Two and a half year contract.

Albion currently below us in the table. What a shocking start they have had to the season.

All these clubs appointing managers are well weird.

Yeah, surely they have an inexperienced back room staffer to call upon? Ha ha

That’s West Brom with a potential upsurge in form. Gets even better for us by the day

Not only that, the BBC report says they are going to recruit a "sporting and technical director". What's that all about?

It's one of those new fangled foreign ideas and, I think, we are well out of that sort of thinking.

The last thing we need is one of those Directors of football types here
You can bet your bottom dollar an experienced forward looking individual would want to set up all sorts of nonsense.
They would have a vision for an identity for a start, probably looking at introducing the same formation and style of football right the way through from the academy to the first team.
They would then have a recruitment team that looked for players who could fit into their system.
If a manager moved on, they would recruit someone who shares their playing philosophy, so it was a seamless transition.
Can't see that ever catching on to be honest, I mean it's not like successful well run clubs would adopt such a revolutionary approach is it????🤔
