Watford's form a bit patchy so I guess we have an outside chance. Provided Mr Stroud doesnt balls up.
I think a draw would be a decent result.
    1-1

As long as it’s not Bobby Madley or that clown at QPR (Robinson?), I’m not that bothered about refs.

According to Hudosn, Colwill trained "on the grass" today whilst Ebou Adams is back in training

Isaak Davies has had some "kinetic testing" apparrently

Re: CARDIFF CITY v WATFORD. Match thread

If we don't win this game grabbing a point is vital

If we spend our time grabbing the odd win then go on another bad run it's going to be tight all season

It's no good for the players or the fans or the management

Isaak ****ing about with his heritage while the team suffers. I'd have him out of the building.

From the BBC report at the time

However, Bluebirds boss Neil Warnock criticised referee Keith Stroud for denying the visitors victory by ruling out a strike by Sol Bamba on 83 minutes.

The centre-back acrobatically smashed home the ball from close range, but Stroud had blown his whistle moments before to give Cardiff a free-kick for a robust challenge by Steve Morison on Joe Bennett on the edge of the area.

Millwall manager Neil Harris told BBC Radio London:

"We probably got away with one with the goal that was disallowed. I feel for Cardiff in some sense because they are probably on the wrong end of a decision.

Can one be both in the building and out on the grass at the same time?

    I demand answers!

    Match facts

    • Cardiff have won just one of their last five league matches against Watford (L4), a 1-0 away win back in December 2020.
    • Watford have won their last three away league matches against Cardiff, scoring 11 goals in the process.
    • Cardiff have scored just one goal in their last four league games (W1 L3), with that goal coming last time out in a 1-0 win versus Rotherham.
    • Watford have won their last two league games without conceding a single goal – the Hornets last won three in a row without conceding back in December 2015 in the Premier League.
    • João Pedro is looking to score in three consecutive league appearances for Watford for only the second time and first since February 2021.

We’re due a game with a bit of luck and a few goals. 3-1 win I reckon. I’d start Philogene from the off, he looked dangerous on the weekend.

Re: CARDIFF CITY v WATFORD. Match thread

Cardiff City interim coach Mark Hudson: “It’s coming around quickly; four games in 10 days is obviously tough. That’s what the Championship gives you with the World Cup coming up.

“We try to prepare for that and have done for a while, as we’ve known that it’s been coming.

“We know that Watford are a good team. They’ve got some really good players and individual match-winners, so again we need to be looking forward to it at our stadium.

"It’s an opportunity for them to come to us, and we’ve got to deliver on our game plan and play our way, which we will do.

“We’re going to have to be right at our top level to get the result, so we’re looking forward to it."

Watford boss Slaven Bilic: "I watched a few of their games, I like that team (Cardiff). They have energy, they have quality, they play on the front foot. They play good.

"Yes they lost a few games. But in a couple of them, against Swansea and QPR they had red cards early in the game, then they didn't have chance. But apart from that, they are electric. They are on the front foot, they are good defensively, very solid. A good team.

“It’s important we go there and play our own game. The big thing for our psychology is keeping up this confidence and momentum, and getting to mid-November with as many points as possible. We’ll train today before we travel across to Cardiff, and we’ll be ready to go again.”

I'd be pulling a muscle around this time if I was involved in the match

I think I would have started Ojo over Philogene despite his goal. Predictable team, probably close to the right one.
