Outfootballed them in the first half, good to watch. Got the three points despite the second half off field decisions rather than due to them.

NOT in the second half we weren't....sat back and invited pressure after the subs.

Great first half ...but awful second half....OJO terrible....Nkounkou not too bad because they did not target him.

Have to agree...I have always been an advocate of persevering with him...but really in the short time he was on he was abysmal.

Sunderland fans doing a minutes silence, then booing the knee. Couldn't make it up.

Please explain. Nelson for Ojo to shore up defence at a time when they had pressure. Philogene off for Sawyers after his second game in three days and he is only 20. Rinomohta on to give more legs in centre midfield at the same time. Harris tiring and possibly had a knock. PS. We won.

He came on offering fresh legs, the very least you'd expect from him would be to try and press and close the opposition down - he ambled around and occasionally broke into a trot.
He's finished at the club after this.

We were the better team over the ninety minutes and I can’t remember Allsop making a save.

A word about Watters - Harris had three attack minded players supporting him while he was on, Watters had no one. That doesn’t excuse his poor performance and it wasn’t a complete surprise when he was subbed, but he was up there by himself.

**** me, give Nkounkou some credit instead of crediting his decent performance due to the opposition not targeting him.

You reckon the second half decisions and performance on and off the pitch were spot on? I despair. The first half display was excellent, we played them off the park but the ‘clever tinkering’ just doesn’t work with the clientele we have,

God this board is really pathetic. How can anyone moan or complain after that result. If Hudson hadn't made those substitutions we probably would have drawn or lost.

That's our 7th clean sheet this season, as many as we had all last season. That's something that's definitely improved.

Cannot say more......WHY take Philogene off when he is buzzing???? As dml1954 said....he's only 20....he should be able to manage two games a week.
    Terrible subs.

Agree, we were the better side. **** Watters, he's not interested. All he had to do was be strong, hold onto the ball, draw a foul, slow the game down. He did none of those things. He's not only shit, but stupid as well. Look at Mark Harris, not the most technically gifted, but he gives everything and more, and that's why he'll have a career at this level, because of his willingness to work and do the shitty stuff for the team, unlike Watters.

    Terrible subs.
I don’t think the tactical change was the problem, for me Nelson helped sure things up. Issue was who he replaced and who with. Sawyer and Watters have no pace and cannot press. They couldn’t keep hold of the ball and couldn’t win it. Any of ODowda, Philogene or Ojo would have been a better option upfront, or even two of them.

    Terrible subs.
Because Hudson wanted to close the game down. I think that he made a mistake, although it wasn't costly, and hopefully he learns from it.
