As I said the other day, the £350 million per week for the NHS that Johnson faithfully promised must surely be kicking in soon......6 years after the big red Brexit bus was doing the rounds. Hope it’s backdated.

I'm of the opinion all services should 'go out' as a general strike.

The NHS staff have been treated especially shabbily.

Me too. Withdraw skills and labour until there is fairness and respect. Some of the stuff written on this board today makes me want to throw up.

Thursday tomorrow, shall we all go out and give them a Christmas clap on our doorsteps. That’ll do them the world of good, Johnson said.

That clap for them has really helped them out. It makes you wonder what more do they want?

Is Johnson still being paid for being absent from parliament?

Er.....in Wales, all health powers are devolved to the Welsh Assembly. If they wanted to give them a wage increase, they could. No need to ask Westminster.

He's right. This power is devolved to the Assembly. You should try harder.

I always knew you were a tory

They can only raise money if they tax or cut nurses jobs or get your mates from Westminster to stop wasting money and give more to the regions

What do you want them to do ?

We know that politicians and those who vote for them from ALL sections of society can be idiots

My old man was a labour voter who hated Tony Benn but loved Dennis Skinner !

He hated Thatcher but thought Ken Clarke was a great bloke who should be in the labour party !

But the behaviour of the health Secretary today and the tory boys on here reminds me of why I can't stand them so much

We KNOW large pay rises are not possible at present , we know the country is in financial strife but we CAN push the boat out for people who have worked like horses the last few years and save our lives

No wonder the opinion polls are stacking up against the tories . But we have them on here and I find it unbelievable how they try to lay the blame for this dispute on people that they were clapping 18 months ago .

    That's why I hate them .

The one nurse had not had a break in 8hours.
Surely that is not good for her and puts the public at risk.

There was enough to lower speeds to 20mph and waste on the brynglas tunnel alternative then decide not to bother after all and leave Wales like a car park.

Even after the strike, they won't be able to drive around in Wales, he'll probably give them bikes and add some dedicated ambulance cycle lanes.
I presume you've never done a speed awareness course.

I wouldn't mind being governed by the liberals

I would prefer labour but I could deal with it

    But this lot

The lowering of the speed limit works

You get used to knocking on the brakes

It saves lives , especially around schools

    Re: Up the strikers

What an absolutely depressing thread. almost every post contains bile, and the word 'hate'. Whatever opinions people have, it's really sad that it sounds more like mad dogs straining at the leash, as opposed to so-called fans of the same football club, even though it's an 'alternative' board. How people can get so vitriolic just pressing a keyboard is beyond me.
