How do you think he will lead and motivate, Maurice?
When he's getting skinned by attackers?
When he goes up for a corner and can't get back in time for a counterattack?

Perhaps you would like his presence in the changing room - geeing-up the boys?

Why don't we just remember the Morrison that we all fondly treasure?

Him trying to turn back time will end in tears.

Yes, great servant. Thanks for the fond memories, we wish you well in your future endeavours.

Cardiff City cannot be a convalescence home.

no....I don't mean back in the first team....but there should be a place for a leader and motivator at the club in some capacity - something that seems to be lacking at the moment.

We need someone like him, maybe not him.

If Morrison's legs have gone, we can't afford him to take up a place in the squad with the embargo. If we resign him, we can't bring back McGuinness for example.

    We need something, though.

Shame it is the FA Cup, Jones would be sacked next week if there was a league game

Yeah and 3 or 4 players I reckon to stay up. Doyle Drameh Hugill would do.

Blackpool have signed Morgan Rogers and believe Bowler heading there as well.

They're still shit. Rotherham and Wigan are going down. We just need to be better than one other, which isn't exactly a given. It's 1 from Hull down.

Mozza added: "No amount of words will be ever be enough to tell you what this Club means and will always mean to me. The last eight and a half years have been filled with some of the most incredible moments and memories. To every staff member and player I’ve ever had the joy of working with, thank you. You’ve made me a better person and I’ve treasured every moment. To the most incredible fans, my biggest thank you is to you. You are the heartbeat of Cardiff City. I always gave 100% and I leave proud and honoured to have had the opportunity to play so many games for this wonderful Club. Good luck for the future, Bluebirds."

I thought he would have had a part to play when fit, lets face it, he is great I either box, I thought he would see the season out here, then move to U23 coach and in a few weeks 1st Team manager
Legend, what a player, thanks for all you've done for us!!!!!!

    Good luck for the future!

Seconded...he SHOULD still have some place within the club...and that is not just sentimentality.

Players like Morrison don't come round very often and he's been a great servant for the club, thank you.

What have we got left? A train crash, dog's breakfast, pig's ear?

All sounds very sad and someone has made a right balls up to see us in this state.

We may end up back where we started before Tan took over.

He's spashed some money about, which is useless really as he's never really had anyone here with any clue what they're doing.

As for SM what a defender he was for us. Wish him all the best.

Do you mean Hammam? We are miles behind where we were when Tan took over.

So you mentioned lack of money in an earlier post, then suggest we pay someone to not play just get the lads going?

But Maurice, you sexy anglo-franco stud - giving Morrison a job, which you have no specific idea what that might be, IS nothing more than sentimentality, surely?
If you disagree with me, I will refuse to view any of the links you provide for City games!

    Re: Sean Morrison leaving

He's 31 , still coming back from a career threatening injury

If he was 32 , 33 and still in fairly good shape then it would be stupid not to have him in the squad

    Same with Flint, Pack etc

These sort of players get you through brick walls

We don't have enough players in the squad who step up

It's why we are going down

Sludge, you'd probably have an aging Willie Boland back right now.

    Re: Sean Morrison leaving

Hudson was a brilliant captain and a leader of men. I dont think he needs any tips on how to be a leader from Morison.

The stark reality is the squad is simply not that good. Not to mention unbalanced.

    Re: Sean Morrison leaving

Cracking player was( 2 S ) Morisson, but a costly wage for someone not likely to feature anytime soon, I wonder if he had not got so badly injured , he'd have left on a fee anyway?
