Thread: €6m paid

    Re: €6m paid

Good news. Hopefully embargo lifted , Maguiness back plus 2 or 3 other much needed reinforcements.

    BBC reporting it too.

I give the club a lot of stick but fair play to them.

It figures that we will try to do some business in this transfer window if we've gone all out to get this paid. Let's hope so.

    Re: €6m paid

Presumably Tan has had to put his hand in his pocket to pay it. I think we should have paid it before now, but it's still a lot of money to shell out, with more to come. Hopefully at least some can be recovered from the people actually to blame for the tragedy, although it seems unlikely.
The fact that it's been paid also means there's an actual loss to try to claim against the insurance broker too.

Tan probably thinks sign 3 players and we can make play offs

    I don't know

But what's certain is that people who are not members of the democratically elected supports trust want that very body to keep them up to date with everything

And have a go at it when they do

    In glad they are paying

I’m told by an attendee it was mentioned as an item not for disclosure. But who knows and cares now

I wonder how much all our failed litigation has cost?

"sources", that'll be Mark Hudson, he's said as much in a few press conferences.

If we signed Messi, Haaland and Mbappe I reckon we'd have a decent chance to be fair

Keith was on here lying on Sunday saying nothing was said in the meeting, when it clearly was. So that's something. Why he felt the need to say that when he could have kept his mouth shut god only knows. As a paid up trust member, I'm less than pleased.

    Re: €6m paid

All this is a golden example of the old saying ‘damned if you do and damned if you don't’. Slag the club off for not paying the fee and having an embargo placed on us and when we pay up snd the embargo is lifted, slag the club off for not paying sooner and not disclosing a confidential matter still under negotiation, at a supporters meeting three days earlier.
