Since promotion from the third tier in 2003 which three calendar years have we

a) won most points
b) won fewest points

Only years where we have played only in the Championship count, so 2013, 2014, 2018 and 2019 when we spent half of each of those years in the Premier League don't count.

Yes, that is one of them. He's the only manager to have one in both a and b.

You've got the three worst - 2004 (54 points), 2007 (55) and 2016 (58). Next would come 2022 though somehow it feels as if it's been the worst year imaginable.

2017 is our second best year (85 points) but the other two are wrong.
