He'd played really well in the two games he's played for them, according to the Rotherham fans.
You'd have to say it's unlikely he'd come back from this.

I did my quad tendon and it ended my career.
At 52 (at the time) I'd had a good run, playing 5 aside for the previous 21 years.
Wonder if they rushed him back to quickly.
He played a few games for our u21s before he left - and looked well off the pace. Whether he was physically right to go into a run of first team games for Rotherham is another question. He did well according to match reports in his first two - but this injury came in a behind closed doors training game. So probably just terrible luck not mismanagement.
It must be devastating for him and his family - and a major problem for Rotherham.
I feel gutted for him but will hold my hands up and say I was surprised he made even 2 games. I was against Sean Morrison re-signing but that’s exactly the sort of player we need
