The people of Oxford - or some of them - give Klaus Schwab the middle finger

    Here's some info. https://www.oxfordshire.gov.uk/resid...st-oxford-ltns

    - Scheme background

The three low-traffic neighbourhoods (LTNs) in Divinity Road area, St Clement's area, and St Mary's area are collectively known as the east Oxford LTNs.

The scheme has been implemented through an experimental traffic regulation order (ETRO) which runs for a maximum of 18 months. Signs were installed in April 2022, and planters and then bollards were installed between 16 and 20 May 2022, when the signs were then uncovered and the ETRO consultation officially started. -

The second tweet below includes a long list of councils (Cardiff and Bridgend amongst them) who wish to introduce similar. It does seem the Blues and Reds who make up the Uniparty have an identical agenda at a local level as well as in Parliament.

I don't doubt the 20mph speed limit in Wales is part of the softening up process.

It's safe to add Plaid Cymru to the list of WEF-loving political parties.

    Active travel and 20-minute neighbourhoods - https://www.partyof.wales/teithio_llesol_active_travel

    - Walking and cycling are not only more sustainable than motorised transport in environmental terms but can also be an important part of healthy living.

A Plaid Cymru government will work towards creating 20-minute neighbourhoods in all our towns and cities providing convenient, safe, pedestrian access to the places people need to go and the services people use nearly every day: public transport, shopping, school, parks, and social activities. -

Apparently the public vote was overwhelmingly against the idea, but the local council went ahead with it anyway.

Oxfordshire council's update from 22nd December 2022, linked below, includes two huge fibs, unless that Meridean TV report is totally fake. The footage is plainly from this year or late last year, and if what's across that road isn't a physical barrier then I need to visit Specsavers.

    - Will the Oxford traffic filters be physical barriers?

    No.

Oxfordshire County Council, supported by Oxford City Council, is proposing to install traffic filters as a trial on six roads in Oxford. The trial is currently planned to begin in 2024. -

    Two different things Morg.

If it helps let's divide them into two pots. Things that Exist and Things that are Planned.

    Things That Exist

What currently exists are a series of physical barriers to traffic either permanently or during certain times of the day. The things that can be easily raised or lowered to let emergency vehicles through. These have been subject to a pattern of vandalism and are being replaced at significant cost.

The full ITV Meridian Video is here. Why people edit out the bits they don't like when doing the bombshell stuff is anyone's guess.

I wonder what the reaction would be if things like speed limits or driving licenses were introduced today.

Same with libraries. If they were a new concept would the likes of LoM be frothing at the mouth that the loony lefty are giving the working class books and educational materials for free from his hard paid taxes.

Canada (along with the UK, US, Australia and New Zealand) is a Five Eyes country. Canada seems to be in competition with Australia for which can be the first to implement WEF's agenda.
